Philodendron melanochrysum

This beauty is highly in demand, otherwise known as a ‘Black Gold Philodendron’ due to the way it shimmers. Melanochrysum originates in Central America and in their natural environment, their leaves can reach over 1m in length. Stately indeed. Juvenile leaves will have a reddish tint to them and as they mature their colouring will become a dark velvety green.
